Year-Long Internship Opportunities

UrbanPromise is seeking individuals who are looking to make a difference in the lives of youth.  

Year-Long Internship

Our internships are a powerful way to spend a year investing in the lives of youth and pointing them to Christ while also growing in your faith and leadership. Year-long interns have a huge impact on our children and teens and provide incredible support to the long term sustainability of our ministry. 

The typical work week includes:  Working at our After-school Programs with 1st-5th graders or 6th-8th graders, Worship and Bible study, Staff Prayer, daily prep for programming, mentoring one of our teens, weekly trips with campers, staff meeting, professional development, learning about social justice issues, community involvement, support raising/Fundraising, Teen Bible Study/Fun activity with teens, home visits, and teen tutoring.  

Year-long interns receive housing and a stipend.  They are asked to help raise support to cover the cost of their stipend and part of their housing expenses.  Interns receiving training and support as they do personal fundraising. Interns live in staff housing in the neighborhood that we serve and grow along with other interns!
